Hard Edge Live was a 3 day painting performance commissioned by Penrith Regional Gallery in 2017.

This work was painted live, as an adjunct to the gallery's survey of Australian hard edge and geometric works, Visions of Utopia.

 

The work, comprised of two layers and laser cut plywood, was based upon the Nepean River, the tidal level marks on the bridge, the silt and wild scramble of vegetation on its banks.
